🧼 Care & Cleaning Guide
Use the cleaning brush (included) to sweep residual coffee grounds from the grinding chamber and chute. Remove the grounds catcher and wipe clean.
Remove burrs (if allowed per manual) and clean with a dry brush. Never use water. For metal burr grinders, use grinder cleaning tablets (Rice Method or dedicated tablets).
Re-adjust grind settings if needed. Check that all screws and assembly parts are tight. Lubricate the auger screw (if guided) with food-grade oil.
Empty all water. Let cool and wipe dry with a soft cloth. Never let water sit overnight — causes mineral deposits and staining.
Rinse with clean water; you can add a small amount of diluted white vinegar to remove limescale. Rinse thoroughly with clean water several times before using again.
Not dishwasher safe. Do not use abrasive powder or hard sponges on matte stainless surfaces — causes scratching.
Wipe the weighing surface with a damp soft cloth. Never let water enter the sensor or circuit openings. Keep on a stable, flat surface.
If readings are inaccurate, place the scale on a flat surface and use a reference weight to re-calibrate per the model's instructions. Turn off when not in use to preserve battery life.
Store in a dry, cool place. Never exceed the maximum weight rating. Remove the battery if storing for an extended period.
Rinse the dripper with warm water and mild dish soap. Let air dry. For spiral-ridged drippers (e.g. Hario V60), use a small brush to clean the ridges.
Soak the dripper in hot water with a small amount of coffee equipment cleaner to remove accumulated coffee oils. Rinse thoroughly before use.
Single-use only — do not reuse. Before brewing, rinse the paper filter with hot water (pre-rinse) to eliminate paper taste and warm up the equipment.
